Nextel Voice Mail
Future Delivery of Messages
This feature allows you to deliver a message at a specified future time and
date.
After recording a message:
1. Press for delivery options.
2. Press . At the prompt, enter the date and the time you want your
message sent. You can stamp future dates up to three months in the
future.
Sample date - October 5 = 1005
Sample time - 1:00pm = 1300
3. Press to address the message.
• For addressing information, refer to Step 5 under “Recording and
Sending Messages”.
4. When you have entered all of the addresses, press to send the
message.
IMPORTANT: Once a message has been sent for future delivery, it
cannot be retrieved or deleted.
Greetings
Recording a Personal Greeting
Your personal greeting will be played to callers when they reach your Voice
Mailbox.
To record a greeting:
1. Log into Voice Mail. See “Accessing the Voice Mail Service After Set
Up” on page 33.
2. Press to reach the Greetings Menu.
3. Press to record your greeting.
4. Record your greeting and press .
