Holding onto the bottom handle, firmly pull the bezel away from the
chassis.

Set the bezel aside.
Removing the top cover
It may be easier to access the cables to the 3.5-inch diskette drive or any
5.25-inch devices by removing the top cover of the chassis.
1.
Follow the ESD precautions described in “Static electricity
precautions” on page 2.
2.
Turn off the system and disconnect the power cord.
3.
Remove side panel as described in “Removing the side panel” on
page 3.
4.
Remove the front bezel as described in “Removing the bezel” on
page 5.
5.
Remove the four screws that secure the top panel to the chassis. Two
are located at the rear of the system and two are located at the front of
the system. See Figure 3.
