SETTING UP YOUR LIFEBOOK
C SERIES FROM FUJITSU
This section describes how to set up your
LifeBook C Series from Fujitsu. We strongly
recommend that you read it before using your
notebook – even if you are already familiar with
notebook computers.
UNPACKING
When you receive your notebook, unpack it
carefully, and compare the parts you have
received with the items listed below.
For a Pre-configured model you should have:
■ LifeBook C Series notebook from Fujitsu.
(Figure 1-1.)
■ Product Registration card.
■ Lithium ion battery. (Already installed
in the battery bay of your notebook.)
■ AC adapter with AC power cord (located in
the Accessories box). (Figure 1-2.)
■ Phone/ Modem(RJ-11) telephone cable
(located in the Accessories box).
■ Getting Started Guide.
■ Accessories Catalog.
■ User’s Guide.
■ Microsoft Windows 98 SE Guide.
■ Microsoft Works Guide.
■ International Limited Warranty Brochure.
■ Recovery CD-ROM
(located in the Accessories box).
■ Additional documentation.
Once you have checked and confirmed that
your notebook system is complete, read through
the following pages to learn about all of your
LifeBook’s components.
