Upgrading the Dolphin Boot Loader
Note: We recommend that you use the Dolphin Upgrade WIZARD to update the Dolphin Boot
Loader, ROM image and Demo application. Simply run DWIZARD and follow the instructions
provided.
While it is unlikely that you will ever need to reload the Dolphin Boot Loader, an
image of the Dolphin Boot Loader is included with the Dolphin OS and Development
System just in case. The Boot Loader image is installed in the c:\dolphin\BooTLDR
directory on your PC.
To load or reload Dolphin’s Boot Loader:
1. Transfer BURN.EXE and BOOTLDR.BIN to Dolphin’s FLASH Drive C:.
2. Execute BURN.EXE. The OS Boot Loader is updated and the files BURN.EXE
and BOOTLDR.BIN are deleted.

Only install the most
recent release of the
Dolphin ROM IMAGE
and Boot Loader.
DO NOT load an old
version of the ROM
IMAGE or Bootloader.
The Dolphin may
become unstable or
inoperable requiring
you to return the unit
to HHP for repair.
