This chapter explains how to install the Ethernet Card in your
printer. Subsequent chapters describe how to install the interface
on your network. See the section that applies to your particular
network for more information.
Hardware Installation
The interface card must be installed in the printer, connected to the
network, and the printer turned on before you set up the software.
Your interface package includes:
The Ethernet Card
A coaxial Y-connector
Utility software disks for installing on a Novell NetWare
or Ethertalk (Apple) network
You must provide:
A network connection for the Ethernet Card (l0BASE or
l0BASE-T)
The host EPSON printer
