6.7 Administration Configuration
6.7.1 Hostname
hostname
Description:
Set switch name.
Syntax:
hostname
<name-str>
Parameters:
<name-str> specifies the switch name. If you would like to have spaces within the name, use quotes (“”) around the
name.
no hostname
Reset the switch name to factory default setting.
6.7.2 IP Configuration
User can configure the IP setting and fill in the new value.
ip address
Description:
Set IP address and subnet mask.
Syntax:
ip address
<ip-addr> <ip-mask>
ip default-gateway
Description:
Set the default gateway IP address.
Syntax:
ip default-gateway
<ip-addr>
show ip
Description:
Show IP address, subnet mask, and the default gateway.
