 Problems with data that includes gradations
I can see differences in the expression of highlights in gradations and they are not smooth. (See the diagram
below.)
Cause
The smoothness of gradations depends on the processing bit depth on the RIP side. When the job is processed
with 8-bit processing, highlights may not be expressed smoothly.
Action
Use 16-bit processing.
Procedure
In Job Editor, open the job and select the Print tab. Click Print Setup and select the Output tab
to display the dialog below.
Select Use 16-bit processing for the bit depth.
