Inserting a Picture with Drag and Drop
You can use this method with any application that supports it—for
example, Microsoft ® Word 6.0 or PageMaker ® 6.0. If you’re not sure,
give it a try. If it doesn’t work, you can use the copy and paste or
importing method.
Follow these steps to drag and drop a picture into your document:
1 Make sure the picture you want to use is showing in the gallery on
your screen.
2 Start your application.
3 Open the document where you want to use the picture. Make sure
your screen displays both the document and gallery windows, as
shown to the right.
4 Drag the picture from the gallery to your document. You see an
outline of the picture showing its size on the page.
5 Position the outline where you want the picture and release the
mouse button. In a few seconds, a copy of the picture appears in
your document.
