Defining the working plane with the Euler angle:
PLANE EULER
Application
Euler angles define a machining plane through up to three
rotations about the respectively tilted coordinate system . The
Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler defined these angles. When
applied to the machine coordinate system, they have the following
meanings:
Precession angle:
EULPR Rotation of the coordinate system
around the Z axis
Nutation angle:
EULNU Rotation of the coordinate system
around the X axis already shifted by the
precession angle
Rotation angle:
EULROT Rotation of the tilted machining plane
around the tilted Z axis
