Meaning
DHCP server 
active on:
IP addresses as of
:
Define the IP address as of which the TNC is 
to derive the pool of dynamic IP addresses. 
The TNC transfers the values that appear 
dimmed from the static IP address of the 
defined Ethernet interface; these values 
cannot be edited.
IP addresses up to
:
Define the IP address up to which the TNC is 
to derive the pool of dynamic IP addresses.
Lease Time (hours)
:
Time within which the dynamic IP address is 
to remain reserved for a client. If a client logs 
on within this time, the TNC reassigns the 
same dynamic IP address.
Domain name
:
Here you can define a name for the machine 
network if required. This is necessary if the 
same names are assigned in the machine 
network and in the external network, for 
example.
Forward DNS to external
:
If IP Forwarding is active (Interfaces tab) 
and the option is active, you can specify that 
the name resolution for devices in the 
machine network can also be used by the 
external network. 
Forward DNS from external
:
If IP Forwarding is active (Interfaces tab) 
and the option is active, you can specify that 
the TNC is to forward DNS inquiries from 
devices within the machine network to the 
name server of the external network if the 
DNS server of the MC cannot answer the 
inquiry.
Status
button:
Call an overview of the devices that are 
provided with a dynamic IP address in the 
machine network. You can also select 
settings for these devices.
Advanced options
button:
Additional settings for the DNS/DHCP server.
Set standard values
button:
Define the factory default settings.
