Select the Z axis. SET lights.
The ❘<- status symbol starts to blink.
Touch workpiece surface with the tool.

Z position is captured. “SET edge“
appears briefly. SET starts to blink.
Retract tool from workpiece.
The ❘<- status symbol lights.
Enter position value for the datum in the
Z axis.

After setting the datum, exit the
probing funtions.
