You receive the message Not all selected items
could be deleted. You must first delete all
references to each selected item and make sure
the item is not opened for playback or editing.
when trying to delete a clip from the bin.

Right-click on the clip and choose
Show References
.
A list appears showing any sequences or sub-clips that
are currently referencing the clip. If you still need to
delete the clip, you must delete it from any sequence
that is using it or delete the sequence itself.
You changed a clip to slow-motion on your
Timeline but can no longer view the entire clip.
1. Right-click on a clip's video track on the Timeline and
choose
Play Speed
.
2. Deselect the
Maintain Duration
setting to increase the
overall clip length and show the entire clip.
You are unable to send clips or sequences
between your NewsEdit LT system and a Grass
Valley Group Profile Server.
1. In Media Manager on the NewsEdit LT system, verify
that you have added the Profile system by choosing
File | Add/Remove Machine
.
2. In NewsEdit LT, verify that you have set up a send
destination to the Profile system by choosing
Tools |Options | Send
.
3. Using Notepad, open the file
Hosts
on the NewsEdit
LT system to verify that your workstation name is
listed and that the IP addresses match and are correct.
The path is C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\Hosts.
You may need your IT engineer to check this file.
4. Verify that your fibre switch is showing good
connections for both the NewsEdit LT system and the
Profile (usually indicated by a solid green light).
5. Check the disk space available on the Profile.
6. Verify that checksums are enabled in the Profile
Configuration Manager.
7. If you've tried all of the above and still can't connect,
try rebooting the NewsEdit LT system, Profile, and
fibre switch, if possible.
Check with your IT engineer before you reboot.
