Enhanced Source Shift Button Mode (Sidepanel)
Setting the Source Shift Button Mode
New with Kayak V693, the “Zodiak Mode” in previous versions in the
Source Shift Button Mode selections, has been renamed
Touch Mode
.
There are three source shift button modes that can be set through the
sidepanel:
•
Latch Mode
(the default)—Is recommended for Kayak and XtendDD
panels. Shift selections stay latched and only sources on the selected
bus row are displayed,
•
Momentary Mode
—If a source is selected with the shift button depressed
and then released, the shift selection will return to the first level and
shifted sources will not be displayed,
•
Touch Mode
—When a shifted source is selected, the bus row displays the
selected source even if it appears on a shifted row, however the next
selection will be from an unshifted source unless a shift button is
pressed.
You can view and modify the behavior of the source button shift modes.

These settings are only available through the Sidepanel.
