Attaching the mounting brackets to the switch chassis (for the
S5820X-28S and S5820X-28C)
To attach the mounting brackets in one of the mounting positions:
1. Align the mounting brackets with the screw holes in the front mounting position ( Figure 26 ),
mid-mounting position ( Figure 27 ), or the rear mounting position ( Figure 28 ). These figures show
how to attach a 1U bracket to the 1U S5820X-28S switch. For how to attach a 2U bracket to the
2U S5820X-28C switch, see Figure 29 .
2. Use M4 screws (supplied with the switch) to fix the mounting brackets to the chassis.
NOTE:
You secure the mounting brackets to both sides of the chassis in the same way.
