Management Ethernet port LEDs
The S5820X-26S and S5820X-28S switches have two management Ethernet port LEDs (LINK and ACT).

Off The management Ethernet port is not connected.
Steady green The management Ethernet port is operating at 10/100/1000 Mbps.
ACT
Off The management Ethernet port is not sending or receiving data.
Flashing yellow The management Ethernet port is sending or receiving data.
OAP card status LED
The SLOT3 LED on the front panel of the S5820X-28C switch shows the status of the card in the OAP card
slot.

Green An OAP card is in the slot and operating correctly.
Flashing yellow (1 Hz)
The switch does not support the OAP card model, or the OAP
card has failed.
Off The OAP card slot is empty.
Hot swappable power modules
All S5820X switches use hot swappable power modules. You can install one power module, or for
redundancy, two power modules in Table 16 for them. For how to install or remove a power module, see
" Installing/Removing a power module ."
