config
Purpose To gain access to the Privileged commanded for the
switch.
Syntax config
Description The configure command moves you to the Global
Configuration (config) command mode.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Privileged EXEC
Example usage:
Enable the privileged mode.
24P switch# config
24P switch(config)#
Interface
Purpose Allows you to access the configuration command
mode.
Syntax
interface

Description The interface command moves you to the Interface
Configuration (config-if) or vlan
Configuration (config-if) command mode.
Parameters The name of the interface or the
vlan.
Restrictions User EXEC
Example usage:
Access the configuration command mode.
