Purpose Used to configure 802.1x admin status.
Syntax dot1x radius
Description To set 802.1x admin status.
Parameters String, ID for dot1x request to Radius
server.
Menu Advanced Switch Configuration -> Port Base Access
Control
Restrictions Global configuration
Example usage:
Set the switch for 802.1x authorization.

dot1x port-control
Purpose Used to configure 802.1x port control status.
Syntax dot1x port-control {auto|force-authorized|force-
unauthorized}
Description To set 802.1x port control status.
Parameters controlled Port set to Authorized or
Unauthorized
controlled Port is held in the
Authorized state.
controlled Port is held in the
Unauthorized state.
