3. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Model 600RBL Low Profile Clamshells are a split-frame pipe lathe designed to sever
and bevel in-line pipe.
Use standard Tool Blocks to configure the Model 600RBL Clamshells for the following
operations:
• Sever in-line pipe
• Sever and bevel in-line pipe
• Sever and double bevel in-line pipe
The following items are included with each Clamshell:
• Dual Air or Hydraulic Motors
• Spacer Bars to cover the range of pipe sizes listed in Section 4.1
• Jackscrews
• Two (2) Tool Modules
• One (1) Tripper Bracket Assembly
