Uploading Software to a Card
Use the following procedure to upload software to a card:
1. Select the Device tab in the Device View for the device you wish to upload software to.
2. In the Device tab, select Upload to display the File Upload dialog.
3. Navigate to the directory where the upload file is stored, and select the file to be sent.
Note
— The Upload button is disabled when the Read Only check box is
selected.
4. From the File Selection dialog, click Open. The DashBoard Lite applet reads the file and
displays a Confirmation dialog. This dialog displays the selected upload file name, type, size,
and the file creation date.
5. From the Confirmation dialog, you scan select from the following:
Click Cancel to cancel the upload of the file and return to the Device View.
Important
— Do NOT click Cancel unless the upload progress has stopped
completely for 60 seconds or more. Cancelling an upload will leave the card in an
invalid state.
Click Continue to upload the file. While uploading, the Uploading Progress dialog
is displayed.
6. When the upload process is complete:
The card reboots and may be briefly offline.
The Product tab indicates the new software information in the required fields.
This completes the procedure for uploading software to a card.
