TROUBLESHOOTING
Tabber Operation Problems
If you are experiencing a problem with the operation or function of the tabber. Please refer to the
“
” section as well as this “Troubleshooting” section.
CONDITION
SOLUTION
Tabber flashes “Exceeding Tabbing Rate”
warning, while tabbing.
1. Speed of tabbing exceeds maximum speed
for the number of tabs being applied.
Slow down tabber transport speed.
2. Feeder speed is too fast, leaving too little
gap between pieces. Slow down feeder.
NOTE: If this condition continues for more
than 10 seconds, the tabber will stop and
display the condition below.
Tabber Stops while tabbing and displays.
Status: Maximum Tabbing Rate Exceeded
1. Speed of tabbing exceeds maximum speed
for the number of tabs being applied.
Slow down tabber transport speed.
2. Feeder speed is too fast, leaving too little
gap between pieces. Slow down feeder.
Tabber Stops while idling with no media
going through it.
The T-650 is equipped with a transport
timeout. If no media is received by the
tabber; the tabber transport will stop after
30 seconds. Press Run key to restart.
Tabber transport button will not turn on,
but display and all other key controls
appear to be working.
Emergency Stop/Safety Stop circuit is open:
1. Check to be sure Safety Stop Jumper is
connected to tabber.
2. Check to be sure Exit Roller Assembly is
closed and locked.
