Expansion via DBK Cards in a DaqBook/2000X
This section consists of two DaqBook/2000X system examples. In the first example, 3 analog DBK cards are used.
In the second example, the system makes use of two digital DBK cards and one analog DBK card.
Example 1: DaqBook/2000X with 3 Analog DBK Cards
DaqBook/2000X with 3 Analog DBK Cards
Lines and Cables Used in Example 1:
On the Rear Panel:
1. Power Supply - To the DaqBook/2000X POWER IN DIN 5 connector, +10 VDC to +30 VDC,
typically from a TR40U power adapter.
2. From the DaqBook/2000X PARALLEL PORT connector to one of the following:
PC Parallel Port, DaqBook/2000E EXPANSION PORT, WBK25 EXPANSION PORT.
The connection is made via a CA-35-2 (2-foot cable) or a CA-35-12 (1-foot cable).
3. DBK16, DBK81, and DBK80 Analog DBK cards inserted in the DaqBook/2000X card slots;
then secured with jackscrews that are included with each card.
On the Front Panel:
From P1 to the DBK80 (located above P1), then to the DBK81 and the DBK16.
The connection is made via a CA-37-3 cable.
