POWER Switch: A rocker-type switch with a “0” label for Power Off, and a “1” for Power On.
POWER IN: +10 to +30 VDC, through a socket type DIN5 connector on the chassis. Power is typically
supplied from a TR40U power adapter.
DaqOEM/2001 and DaqOEM/2005
The DaqOEM/2000 Series boards include all the analog, digital, and frequency I/O functionality that is
found in their DaqBook/2000 Series counterparts.
The DaqOEM/2000 Series boards are each powered by user-supplied +10 to +30 VDC input at 15W via a
DIN5 or 2-pin Molex connector. An optional AC/DC converter (TR-40U) can be used to supply the
proper DC voltage from a standard 110 to 250 VAC source.
DaqOEM/2000 Series Board
All input and output signals for the DaqOEM/2000 Series boards are accessed via three 40-pin headers
designated JP1, JP2, and JP3. Optional cables (p/n CA-248) are available for converting the 40-pin
headers to male DB37 connectors.
•
JP1 – 40 pin header. Analog input port for16 single-ended or 8 differential analog inputs
with 13 software programmable ranges (±10 V to ±156 mV full scale).
•
JP2 – 40 pin header. General purpose digital I/O port with 24 lines, or digital I/O
expansion port controlling up to 192 external lines.
•
JP3 – 40 pin header. 16-bit digital I/O port, 4 counter inputs, and 2 timer outputs.
In addition, for DaqOEM/2001 JP3 connects to 4 on-board analog outputs (DAC0, DAC1,
DAC2, and DAC3). DaqOEM/2005 has no on-board DACs.
•
TC Expansion – each device is expandable up to 896 TC inputs via use of DBK90 or
DBK100 options.
•
Analog Expansion – each device is expandable up to 256 analog input channels while
maintaining a 200 kHz scan rate.
In regard to specifications, for DaqOEM/2001 refer to DaqBook/2001 specifications. For
DaqOEM/2005 refer to DaqBook/2005 specifications.
