Installation of the Weatherproofing Kit
Application of the Sealant in the Electronics Cabinet
To apply the sealant in the Electronics Cabinet, proceed as follows:
1 Before applying the sealant provided in the kit (3M 2084 Metal Sealant), use rags and cleaner
(or alcohol) to clean and dry the surfaces to be sealed. Then, apply the sealant at all locations
identified in
Figure 8 and Figure 9 on page 10 .
2 Apply the sealant to fill gaps in all four bottom corners and all four top corners inside the
cabinet. See
Figure 8 .

Apply sealant to the upper
inside corners of head
section, at four places.
Apply sealant to the gap
(where the Rain Gutter
and the sheathing join).
Repeat this in all four
corners.
