6.3.3 SNMP Traps
The MBT-5003 has the ability to send out SNMP traps when certain events occur in the unit. The
MBT-5003 sends out traps when a fault occurs in the unit. A trap is sent both when a fault occurs
and is cleared.
The MBT-5003 supports both SNMPv1 traps and SNMPv2 notifications. Which style of traps
the MBT-5003 sends can be configured by the user using the MBT-5003SNMPTrapVersion OID.
The following are the MIB2 v1traps / v2 notifications that the MBT-5003 supports:
