Blank Check
This option performs a device blank check test before
programming. This option can be disabled for brand new
chips to save time. For electronically erasable chips, enabling
the auto-erase/overwrite option will allow the
DATAMAN-48XP to automatically erase the chips if they are
not blank initially.
Program configuration/memory protect
This option only applies to devices with configuration
registers or if it has a read protect function on it, enabling this
option will automatically program the main buffer into the
chip then program the configuration set up without the need to
perform memory protect separately. Enabling this option only
protects the chip if in the configuration set up menu, you have
set the lock bit to enabled.
