display asking the user to complete the set up and confirm it,
first you need to fill out the operation set up menu (for
operation set up, please reference to the device operation
option section) then the configuration set up menu (this
configuration set up menu is device specific, only chips with a
configuration register have this menu and the contents are
different from chip to chip), reference to device configuration
section. The last set up menu is statistic configuration, for set
up details of the statistics please refer to the statistics section of
this manual.
Mass Production Mode
After the user has completed the setup above, the Mass
Production screen (figure 4.2) will be displayed. When the user
inserts a device into the ZIF socket, the white segments on the
diagram of the ZIF will change to green. If a segment remains
white, this indicates poor or no contact on the corresponding
pin.
Once contact is established on all pins the device can be
programmed. When programming is complete the green LED
on the programmer will flash and the PC will generate an
audible alert. The operator can then remove the device and
insert a new one into the ZIF.
Any error in programming will be signified by the contact
segments on the diagram of the ZIF turning red and the PC
generating a two tone alert. Once the error has been resolved,
programming will continue until either the target quantity or
the maximum failure rate (set in the Statistic Setup) has been
reached.
