Changes the choices indicated within the marked field to obtain
available option, or actions a highlighted selection in the same
way as the "Enter" or "Return" key on a computer.
While inspecting event profiles, this key has an auto-repeat
function which operates faster the longer it is held down.
&
Allow the selection field to be moved about the display in
the direction(s) of the relevant arrows.
On long data records, these keys have an auto-repeat function
which operates faster the longer they are held down so that 999
results can be accessed in approximately 30 seconds.

Analog Outputs
Both AC and Log DC analog output signals are available from the 18-
line auxiliary socket in the base of the instrument. There is also a digital
output (described in Chapter 8).
Figure 5 identifies the line connections for analog signals in the auxiliary
socket. The analog outputs are:
1.
Conditioned AC signal on line 3 with typically 5.775 V RMS for full
scale deflection with the recommended impedance of any con-
nected device (including interconnecting cable) >10 k
Ω
and
<50 pF.
2.
Logarithmic DC on line 9 nominally 49 mV/dB with a typical max-
imum value not exceeding 5 V.
Note:
The DC signal is not at the standard Fast and Slow time weightings.
The following cables are available for connection with analog devices.
C6594/2
AC Output Cable (2 m) with BNC termination.
