LISTENING TO A COMPACT DISC
1 Set the FUNCTION switch to CD.
OPE/BATT indicator turns on. 0 is displayed in the TRACK display.
2 Open the disc compartment.
3 Piace a disc in the center with the iabei side up and close
the disc compartment.
Total number of tracks on the disc is displayed in the TRACK display.
4 Press the ►ll PLAY/PAUSE button to start CD play.
Track number is displayed in the TRACK display.
5 Adjust the volume and tone.
Basic operation
Press the following buttons.
To stop
■ STOP button ,
To pause
► II PLAY/PAUSE button
To resume play, press the button again.
After listening
Set the FUNCTION switch to POWER OFF/TAPE.
About AUTO LOUDNESS
At low volumes, the high and low frequencies sound faint. AUTO
LOUDNESS
function
automatically
emphasizes
these
frequencies,
for
the powerful sound even at low volumes.
TRACK number display
The track number is displayed. The track number flashes while the CD
play is paused.
