Manual Buttonholing

NOTE; Do not put finger, screw driwer or

any other object near or under the
sensor when sewing buttonhoies by
using sliding burtonhoie foot J.

Otherwise the sewing procedure in
the pattern indicator may advance
to the next steps.

® 8. Carefully mark the buttonhole length on

yourgartTient.

b. Change to the sliding buttonhole foot
c. Insert the garment under the foot with the

buttonhole marking running toward you.
Slide both threads to the left.

(D a. Move the slider (A) away from you so that

the bottom mark IC) on the slider meets the

start mark IB).

b. Line up the markings on the foot with the

bottom mark on your garment.

c. Lower the presser toot and press BHl

Ibar-tack} button.

NOTE: The markings on the slider are made in

centimeters.

(3) The machine will bartack and sew up the left

side of the buttonhole.

Stop the machine at the top mark.
