After the temperature has been calibrated and the Over Temperature Limit set, enter the CO
2
set
point (concentration percentage) of your incubation application. The incubator comes from the
factory with a set point of 5%.
The gas supply must deliver 15 - 20 psi to the throughout this procedure
Note: The visual example below represents adjusting the CO
2
set point from 4 to 5%.
End of Procedure
Press either the Up or Down arrow button on the CO
2
panel.
a.
The display will flash the letters “SP” for set point.
b. A flashing, adjustable CO
2
set point will appear in the display.
Adjust the flashing set point using the arrow buttons.
a. If the buttons are not pushed for five (5) seconds, the display
will revert to showing the current chamber CO
2
level.
b. The last set point value in the display will be saved as the new
CO
2
set point.
Set point adjusted to 5%.
After selecting a CO
2
set point, wait five (5) seconds.
a. The display will cease flashing.
b. The display will revert to showing the current concentration
percentage in the chamber.
c. The new set point is now saved in the microprocessor
controller.
d. The incubator will now begin adjusting to reach the set point.
Controller injecting CO
2
to
achieve the new set point.
Note: The CO
2
display can be set to off when entering a new set point. Hold the
down arrow until the display reads “OFF”. The incubator will cease injecting CO
2
,
and the gas deviation alarms will not activate until a new set point is entered.
