The unit comes from the factory with a set point of 37
°C. Perform the steps below to change the set
point to the operational temperature you will be using for your incubation application. This also
prepares the unit for temperature calibration. The example below assumes the incubator will be run
at 39°C during normal use.
End of Procedure
Turn the Over Temperature Limit control dial clockwise to the maximum
position indicated by the largest dot.
a. This prevents the Over Temperature Limit system from
interfering with the Set the Temperature Set Point and
Temperature Calibration procedures.
Press either the Up or Down key one time on the Set Temperature
panel to activate the temperature set point mode.
a.
The temperature display will briefly flash the letters “SP” to
indicate a Set Point is about to be displayed.
b. The Set Temperature digital display will then show the
flashing, adjustable temperature set point.
Use the Up or the Down arrow key to adjust the flashing set point
to the temperature of your incubation application.
a. If neither key is pressed within 5 seconds the displayed set
point will be saved.
Wait 5 seconds after entering the new set point.
a. The display will stop flashing. The new set point is now saved
in the microprocessor controller.
b. The incubator will now automatically heat or passively cool to
match the new set point.
c. The display will revert to showing the current chamber air
temperature.
Leave the Over Temperature Limit control at the maximum setting if you
will be performing a temperature calibration.
