REQUIREMENTS
INSTALLATION AND FIRST USE
To install the Novak Sentry Data Acquisition software application, double click on the Setup.exe file on the CD.
For more information regarding installation, refer to the Quick Start document located in the Documents folder
of the CD.
The installation automatically checks to make sure your system has Microsoft .NET™ Framework 2.0 and
Microsoft Report Viewer installed. If it detects that your system does not have one or both of the prerequisites
installed, you will be prompted to do so.
Upon first connection, the Windows operating system will automatically detect the new Novak Sentry Data
Logger device and will install the hardware drivers required to operate the device. When Windows is finished, it
may prompt you to restart the computer before continuing. Please restart the computer before using the Novak
Sentry Data Acquisition software application.
To open the Novak Sentry Data Acquisition software, simply double click on the icon that was automatically
installed on your desktop or select All Programs listed in the Start menu.
UNINSTALL
To uninstall the Novak Sentry Data Acquisition software, use the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs.

NOTE
For proper display, your screen resolution should be set to 1024 by
768 or higher in the Windows
dialog box under Settings
tab.
