NOVAK POWER CONNECTORS
Low-Loss • Polarized • Gold-Plated
For best results, strip, twist, & pre-tin about 1/4” of your
16-12G power wires before soldering to the connector.
To avoid over-heating connector’s plastic, plug into a mating/opposite-
end connector (not on a battery pack) to help dissipate extra heat.
Insert the stripped & tinned end of the wire into the correct barrel
of the connector (“+” & “–” are marked on the side of connector). Heat
the tinned wire end with a good quality, high-power soldering iron
until the solder reflows into the connector’s barrel forming a clean
and continuous solder joint. If needed, add a small amount of extra
solder--again, being careful not to over-heat the connector’s plastic.
Slide the included heat shrink tubing over the wires and shrink over
the connector’s exposed barrel and the solder joint.
