Description
PCR
Peak Cell Rate (in cells/sec) is the cell rate, which the source
may never exceed.
SCR
Sustain Cell Rate
MBS
Maximum Burst Size - traffic parameter that specifies the
maximum number of cells that can be transmitted at the
Peak Cell rate.
CDVT
Cell Delay Variation Tolerance
Auto PVC
Auto Permanent Virtual Circuit, see PVC.
Bridged gateway profile and Connection
A pure bridged connection does not assign any IP address to the WAN interface.
NAT and firewall rules are not enabled. This connection method, as shown on next
picture, makes the Gateway act as a hub, and just passes packets across the WAN
interface to the LAN interface.
Use the following procedures to configure the gateway as a bridge.
1. From the Setup main page, click on New Connection.
The default PPPoE connection setup is displayed.
2. At the Type field select Bridge.
3. The Bridge connection setup page is displayed.
