Warning Indicators

Condensation Warning

CONDENSATION, OPERATION PAUSED
PLEASE WAIT appears if moisture occurs

inside the camcorder. When this indication

appears, wait at least one hour before using
the camcorder again.

TAPE!

Missing Cassette

Warning

Appears if a tape is not loaded when the

Recording Start/Stop button or SNAPSHOT

button is pressed when the Power Switch is

set to automatic (B ) or manual (H) record.

TAPE END

End of Cassette

Warning

Appears when a tape reaches its end during

recording or playback.

DIFFERENT

FO RM ATTED TAPE

Appears if a tape in another format is loaded.

LENS CAP

Covered Lens Warning

Appears briefly after the power is turned on

to either automatic or manual record mode
and the lens cap is still attached.

SET DATE/TIM E

Missing Information

Warning

Appears when the date and time are not set.

Appears when the built-in clock battery runs

out and the previously set date/time is erased.
