System Connections
■ Unplug the AC power lead from the wall socket if the
unit will not be in use for a prolonged period of time.
Aerial connection

Included FM aerial
When connecting the FM areal to the main unit,
connect it to the center of the FM areal terminal firmly.
Extend the FM aerial when connecting so that you can
obtain the best reception.
External FM aerial (commercially available)
If the included FM aerial is unable to receive well, use
an external FM aerial. When an external FM aerial is
used, disconnect the included FM aerial wire.
Note
Placing the aerial on the unit, near the AC power or
electronic devices lead may cause noise pickup. Move
the aerial away from the AC power lead if it is located
nearby.
Speaker connection
• Do not connect more than 2 speakers into 1
terminal.
• Do not allow the speaker wire to touch the metal part
of the main unit.
• Speakers of the main unit are not designed to shield
magnetics. When placing this unit near a CRT
television, place it away from the television to avoid
color irregularity of the television.
• Do not letthe speakerwires touch each other.
