There are two ways to connect this unit and your
AirPiay/DLNA device, wireiess connection (direct
wireiess connection) and wireiess connection via
wireiess LAN router.
• Use of a wireiess LAN router is recommended if
possibie.
• This unit cannot be used as a wireiess LAN router.
Use a wireiess LAN router to connect your AirPiay/
DLNA device to the internet.
Caution
When this unit is piaced too cióse to a wireiess LAN
device or microwave, noise interference may occur,
causing crackiing sound, it may aiso reduce the
communication speed and cause invaiid
connection. Piace the unit away from the wireiess
LAN device or microwave.
This unit is not guaranteed to operate with aii the
AirPiay/DLNA compatibie devices or wireiess LAN
routers. Piease be noted in advance.
About AirPlay
With Appie AirPiay technoiogy, you can stream your
music from your Mac/Windows/iPod touch/iPhone/
iPad to externai speakers.
AirPiay usage requires: •

• Foiiowing devices with the iatest iOS update:
- iPod touch (4th and 3rd generation)
- iPhone 4S
- iPhone 4
- iPhone 3GS
(iPhone 3G cannot support AirPiay)

About DLNA
With DLNA technoiogy, this unit can piay back music
which is stored on your PC and/or mobiie devices via
wireiess connection.
DLNA usage requires:
• Mobiie devices supporting DLNA
- Refer to the instruction manuai of your device.
• DLNA appiication with server function (DMS)
- About the DMS support, refer to the heip page of
the instaiied appiication.
• Windows Media Piayer 12 (Windows 7)
- Windows Media Piayer 11 or eariier version of
Windows Media Piayer can not be used for
piayback.
• DLNAversion 1.5
Note
Depending on the DLNA appiication, you may
experience maifunctions during network connection
or piaying back. Try another appiication in such a
case.
DRM fiies cannot be piayed back.
Streaming audio sounds of the recorded videos
from DLNA devices is not supported by this unit.
