CAUTION
1. Before installation , be sure to disconnect the DC
power supply,or battery, or damage may occur the
equipment.
2. You can not install the digital recording unit(DRU-
1) and the DTMF unit togetner.
You should choose one unit to install.
Detent
CTCSS unit TSU-6
The use of the optional sub-audible tone decoder TSU-
6 allows CTCSS (Tone squelch) operation. When this op­
tion is active squelch will only open when the proper
tone is received.
Installation
1. Remove the 2 screws secur­
ing the Top cover.
2. Carefully remove the top
cover.. (Fig.l)
3. Remove the backing from
the small cushion provided
with the TSU-6 and attach
it to the back of the TSU-6
as shown in Fig. 2.
4. Attach the cable from
TSU-6 as shown in Fig. 2.
5. Remove the backing from
the other side of the small
cushion and attach the
TSU-6 to the transceiver as
shown.
6. Replace the cover and
tighten the screws to
complete the installa­

Attach the cable.
Digital Recording Unit DRU-1
1. Remove the 2 screws se­
curing the Top cover.
Carefully remove the top
cover. (Fig. 1)
2. Attach the three cables
from the DRU-1 in the
transceiver as shown in
Fig. 3. Don’t forget to at­
tach the TSU-6 as shown
if you are installing this
unit at the same time
(Fig. 4).

3. Tighten the screws
(fig. 5).
4. Replace the cover and
tighten the screws to
complete the installa­
tion.
