Odd.Split Channels
Press the VFO/M^V key to
select the VFO mode.
Select the desired receiv­
ing frequency ,tone fre­
quency,etc. (For example
145.600MHz)
3. Press the F key.The F indi­
cator and a memory chan­
nel indicator will light.( For
example CH 5)
4. Select any Memory Chan­
nel from 7 thru 10 using
the Tuning control or the
microphone UP / DWN
switches.
(For example CH 10 )
5. Press the MR/M key within
10 seconds of selecting the
Memory Channel.
A long beep will sound
and the F indicator and the
Memory Channel number
will turn CFF.
6. Within 10 seconds of press­
ing the MR / M key, you
should select the desired

transmit frequency using
the Tuning control or mi­
crophone UP/DWN switch­
es.
(For example
145.700MHz)
7. Press the MR/M key within
10 seconds of selecting the
transmit frequency. A long
beep will sound to signal
the data has been success­
fully stored.
8. To confirm the contents of
the Split Memory Channel
press the MR/M key and re­
call the channel. The re­
ceiving
frequency and
—F indicator will appear
in the display.
To check the transmit fre­
quency press the REV/STEP
key or Microphone PTT
switch. The transmitting
frequency will appear in
the display.
