Sliding buttonhole foot

To adjust buttonhole stitch density

Set the stitch length dial between 0.25 and 1.0 to adjust

the buttonhole stitch density.

NOTE: Always check a buttonhole on a scrap of fabric to

make sure the adjustment satisfies you.

Starting to sew

Snap the buttonhole foot (J) on the presser foot holder.
Carefully mark the buttonhole length on the fabric.
Place the fabric under the foot, with the buttonhole marking
running toward you.

Move the slider

toward you, so that the red arrow

(C)

on

the slider aligns with the start mark {B). Lower the presser
foot

NOTE:The markings on the slider are engraved in

centimeters.

Set the stitch selector at |0,, Sew forward until you reach the

front mark of your buttonhole. Stop sewing at a left stitch.
