Setting-up dimensions which are not given in the above table can be
calculated using the formulas below.
If the screen size (diagonal) is SD (m), then the following formula is first used
to obtain the screen width (SW).
SW = SD X 4 ^ 5
The value for SW obtained above can then be used with the following
functions to calculate the projection distance for the wide tens position (LW)
and the projection distance for the telephoto lens position (LT).
LW = 1.535

LT = 1.933 X SW - 0.066
For 16:9 aspect ratios, the following formula can be used to calculate the
screen width (SW).

• The dimensions in the table above and the values obtained from the
above formulas may contain slight errors.
• It is recommended that you use the projection distance for the wide lens
position (except in cases where the diagonal picture size is 0.762 m [30 ]).
