К О Т Е :

• CATV channel designations are not standardized like broadcast channels. Therefore, there may be some

variation between cable systems. If in doubt, consult your cable company or local Panasonic Dealer,

• Numbers not listed on the charts above cannot be entered.

• Please note that all previously erased channels may return to original selections when the position of the

ANTENNA SYSTEM SELECT Button is changed while CHANNEL MEMORY Button is ON.

• When the power is disconnected for long periods and electric back-up system shuts off, it is possible that

CHANNEL MEMORY may return to original manufactured selections.

In this case reset CHANNEL MEMORY as desired.

HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR TYPE OF CABLE SYSTEM

® Set the ANTENNA SYSTEM SELECT Button to the “CATV” position.
© Select various channels that you normally receive on your cable system. The channels should lock in almost

immediately after they are selected and should appear perfectly tuned.

The synthesized tuner on this model will automatically fine tune the selected channel for you. If the channels

seem to take some time to lock in or will not lock in, you may have the HRC or IRC cable systems. In this

case, continue with steps and (D below.

© Set the button to the “HRC" position and try the above procedure again.
© If you are having trouble with only channels 5 and

6

. you may have an “IRC" type system so set the button

to the "IRC” position. When the proper setting is determined you should be able to clearly receive all the

cable channels that you were originally able to receive on your TV.

NOTE:;
• If you cannot determine your cable system, please contact your cable company.
