Power Sources
To operate on AC power D
Connect the included AC power cable to the
AC socket of the unit and your household
AC outlet.

1. Set the voltage. Use a flat-head screw­
driver to turn the voltage selector on the
rear to the voltage setting for the area In
which you will be using the system.
If you set the selector to “OFF" position,
this unit does not oprate.
2. Connect the included AC power cable to
the AC IN socket of the unit and your
household AC outlet.
If the power plug will not fit your socket, use
the power plug adaptor (included) as the power plug
Illustrated. |0
To operate on battery power B
Disconnect the power cable from the AC IN
socket on the rear panel, and insert the bat­
teries in the order numbered as illustrated.
How to remove the batteries: I3
Insert your finger into the opening on the
bottom panel and push the batteries out.
When to replace the batteries for
powering the main unit: B
When the power/battery check/standby indi­
cator goes off (or dims) during play, replace
all the batteries with new ones.
• If the power cable, which has not been
plugged into the power outlet, is plugged
into the main unit’s AC IN socket while the
unit is^ powered by batteries, the memory
contents will be lost. (They will not be lost
when the memory back-up batteries have
been installed.)
• If the unit Is not going to be used for a
prolonged period of time when a house­
hold AC outlet is used to power it, discon­
nect the power cable to conserve power.
