TROUBLESHOOTING

A “humming” sound
can be heard. IiKorrcct cable conitcctions. Firmly connect the audio plugs. If the problem
persists, the cables may be defective. -
The volume level
cannot be increased,
or the sound is
distorted. The component connected to the OUT
(R.EC) jacks of this unit is turned off. Turn on the pow'cr to the componenl.
The sound effect
cannot be recorded. It is not p<')ssible to record the sound
effect wdt.h a recordiitg component.

The sound field
parameters and some
other settings on the
unit cannot be
changed. “OPTION 2 MEM. CiUARD” in the SET
MENU is so to ON.
Select OFF.
The unit does not
operate properly. The internal microcomputer has been
frozen by an external eJeetrie shock (such
as lightning or excessive static electricity)
or by a power supply with low- voltage. Disconnect the AC pow-er cord from the outlet and
then plug it in again after abcml 30 seconds.
"CHECK SP WIRES”
appears on the front
panel display. The speaker cables are short circuited. Make sure all speaker cables are connected correctly. -
