Turn [MULTI JOG] to select “MANUAL”.
When it is turned clockwise, the settings are selected in the fol
lowing sequence.
(1) HEAVY
® CLEAR
@ HALL
@ Al EQ
(D MANUAL
® FLAT
Operate Joystick to adjust the sound quality.
CD «—> direction: For selecting the range of the sound to be
adjusted
Characteristics of each sound range
100 Hz:
Super woofer range
Around 315 Hz:
Bass to midrange
1 kHz:
Midrange
Around 3.15 kHz: Midrange to treble
10 kHz:
Treble
©it direction: For adjusting the level
Repeat steps (D and © to set the desired sound quality.
The display before sound quality adjustments were started is
restored after a moment.
To release the equalizer
Turn [MULTI JOG] to select "FLAT'.
To select “MANUAL” with the remote control
Press [EQ] ([SHIFTl+IMENU]).
Each time these buttons are pressed, the setting is changed in the
sequence described above.
The sound quality setting is stored automatically. It is recalled when
“MANUAL” is next selected.
