This unit lets you take advantage of the Radio Data System (RDS) in
areas where RDS broadcast services are received. This system pro
vides usefu! information, utilizing a 57 kHz subcarrier above the audi
ble range, in addition to the main FM signai.
If the station you are listening to is transmitting RDS signals, “RDS”
wilt light up on the display.
Station display (PS display)
The name of the station is displayed when PS signals are received.
To display the name of a broadcasting station

Press [PS—DiSP MODE].
Each time you press the button; Frequency displays—* PS display
For your reference
If the PS display isn’t shown;
Press and hold [PS—D ISP MODE] for about 4 seconds.
The mode switches every time the button is pressed and held;
