Types of tapes which can be played:
The unit automatically identifies the type of tape.
Normal position/TYPE 1 V
High position/TYPE li V
Metal position/TYPE IV V
Preparation
Press [c!)/i] to turn the unit on.
Press OPEN] on deck 1 or deck 2 and insert
the tape.
Load a tape with the exposed side facing downward.
Close the cassette holder.
Q Press [DOLBY NR] to select Dolby NR on or off.
“DO NR" appears when the Dolby NR system is on.
Press [REV MODE] to select the reverse mode.
Each time you press [REV MODE], one of the indicators will ap­
pear.
~Z.:
The deck plays one side only.
The deck plays both sides.
Q'^y. The deck plays both sides 8 times.
3 Press [].
>: The forward side will play.
<: The reverse side will play.
Adjust the volume.
To stop tape playback;
Press [■].
To change the deck to be used: El
Press [DECK 1/2] to select the deck you want to play.
To listen to 2 tapes consecutively:
Load a tape into each deck and select “c:;!!::)”. Both tapes will be
played 8 times each.
