4.8 SNMP Agent Configuration
To select the SNMP Agent Configuration, from the Main Menu (Figure 4-4), select '1,' then 'Enter.' The SNMP Agent
Configuration screen will be displayed. Note at the top the Ethernet, or Media Access Control (MAC) address, the firmware
revision, the board ID, and the printed circuit board (PCB) revision of the Management Module are displayed. These are
encoded on the Ethernet ID PROM and are not selectable.
Several of the selections will have a subsequent prompt "Save in Non Volatile RAM?" When a new value
is entered it is saved in a temporary location for the current session. The operator must select 'Y' to the
latter prompt, or the new input will not be saved beyond the users current session. Reference Figure 4-6.
