Prerequisites for the Upgrade

Always upgrade HA CPUs in pairs, immediately before or after the Primary CPU.
•
The order in which systems are upgraded can be used to minimize these disruptions.
Welch Allyn recommends installing the software upgrade and rebooting systems in
the following order.
•
System acting as an SQL server

•
HA Pairs of CPUs.
•
Other Primary systems.
•
Auto Open Secondary systems.
•
Patient List Review system.
•
No additional considerations need to be taken for a WACS (Welch Allyn Connectivity
Server) connected to the network.
•
While the System acting as an SQL server is being upgraded, Deleted Arrhythmia
events may not display properly on all networked systems.
