To Search by Entering a Patient’s Name or ID
1. From the Enter New Patient screen ( Figure 37 on page 57), press Search.
If prompted to log in, enter your user ID and password.
The following screen appears.

2. Enter the patient’s identification number or last name (partial or complete).
3. Press Search.
The electrocardiograph searches its own scheduled patients list, then it searches the
database of a connected CardioPerfect workstation (if any), then it searches its own
test directory. If one or more patients match your entry, their names appear.
Note The other two softkeys exit this search:
• New Patient returns to the Enter New Patient screen. See Figure 37 on
page 57.
• Schedule brings up the Scheduled Patients List screen. Go to “To
Choose a Patient from the Scheduled Patients List” on page 67.
